Guided Bay Fishing Trip for 5
This private guided bay fishing trip is designed for up to five guests who want to experience a full day of fishing along the Texas coast with Captain Landon of Come and Wade It.
It’s a great option for families, friend groups, bachelor trips, corporate outings, or anyone looking to spend the day chasing fish in the bays around Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Rockport, and nearby waters.
Landon will plan your trip based on the season, weather, tide movement, and current bite. Depending on the day and your group’s preference, your trip may include boat fishing, wade fishing, or a mix of both.
You’ll fish out of a 2024 Majek Illusion 25+, a high-performance bay boat built for Texas coastal fishing.
Target species may include:
Speckled trout, redfish, black drum, flounder, sheepshead, and other seasonal bay fish.
What’s Included
Your trip includes:
- Private guided fishing trip for up to 5 guests
- All rods, reels, and tackle
- Water and ice
- Ice chest on board
- Fish cleaning
- Local guidance, coaching, and trip planning from Captain Landon
Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks, snacks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and personal ice chest if desired.
Boat Fishing or Wade Fishing
You may choose between boat fishing and wade fishing, depending on weather, conditions, and your group’s comfort level.
For wade fishing, each guest must bring their own waders and wading boots. Fishing gear is provided, but personal wading gear is not included.
Bait Notice
Bait may be an additional cost depending on the season and type of trip. During certain seasons, especially croaker season, bait can be expensive and may not be included in the trip price. Please ask ahead of time if you have questions about bait costs for your date.
Have More Than 5 Guests?
Have a larger group? We may still be able to help.
Trips with more than 5 guests require special planning and may require a second boat. Please contact Captain Landon directly before booking so we can discuss your group size, date, fishing goals, and available options.
Larger group trips are subject to captain availability, boat availability, weather, and seasonal fishing conditions.
Trip Length
Most guided trips last approximately 6 to 8 hours, depending on the weather, fishing conditions, and how long guests want to stay out.
Landon likes to say, “It’s your boat for the day,” within reason. Most groups are ready to head in by early afternoon, but the trip is designed to feel relaxed, personal, and not rushed.
Where Trips Launch
Most trips launch from one of the following locations:
- Conn Brown Harbor in Aransas Pass
- Fisherman’s Wharf in Port Aransas
- Cove Harbor in Rockport
If you are staying in Key Allegro, dock pickup may be available. Please let us know where you are staying when you book your trip.
Captain Landon will confirm the best launch location based on weather, fishing conditions, and your group’s plans.
Before Your Trip
Captain Landon will contact you the week of your trip to reconfirm details. He will also reach out the night before your trip to finalize the meeting location, launch time, and any last-minute details.
Launch times may vary depending on weather, tide movement, fishing conditions, and the season.
