Guided Bay Fishing Trip for 4

Gather your crew and spend the day fishing the bays around Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Rockport, and the surrounding Texas coast with Captain Landon of Come and Wade It.

This private guided trip for four guests is ideal for families, friends, small groups, and anglers who want a full coastal fishing experience. Landon will plan the trip around the current conditions, fish movement, season, and your group’s preferred style of fishing.

Trips may include boat fishing, wade fishing, or a combination of both when conditions allow.

You’ll fish out of a 2024 Majek Illusion 25+, a top-tier bay boat built for shallow water performance, comfort, and serious Texas coastal fishing.

Target species may include:

Speckled trout, redfish, black drum, flounder, sheepshead, and other seasonal bay fish.

• Local guidance, coaching, and trip planning from Captain Landon

Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks, snacks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and personal ice chest if desired.

Boat Fishing or Wade Fishing

Guests may choose boat fishing or wade fishing, depending on the conditions and the style of trip they prefer.

For wade fishing trips, each guest must bring their own waders and wading boots. Come and Wade It provides the fishing gear, but wading gear is not supplied.

Trip Length

Most guided trips last approximately 5 to 7 hours, depending on the weather, fishing conditions, and how long guests want to stay out.

Landon likes to say, “It’s your boat for the day,” within reason. Most groups are ready to head in by early afternoon, but the trip is designed to feel relaxed, personal, and not rushed.

Where Trips Launch

Most trips launch from one of the following locations:

• Conn Brown Harbor in Aransas Pass

• Fisherman’s Wharf in Port Aransas

• Cove Harbor in Rockport

If you are staying in Key Allegro, dock pickup may be available. Please let us know where you are staying when you book your trip.

Captain Landon will confirm the best launch location based on weather, fishing conditions, and your group’s plans.

Before Your Trip

Captain Landon will contact you the week of your trip to reconfirm details. He will also reach out the night before your trip to finalize the meeting location, launch time, and any last-minute details.

Launch times may vary depending on weather, tide movement, fishing conditions, and the season.

What to Bring

We recommend bringing:

• Valid Texas fishing license

• Sunscreen

• Hat

• Polarized sunglasses

• Snacks

• Drinks of choice

• Weather-appropriate clothing

• Personal ice chest if desired

• Waders and wading boots if you are wade fishing

Water, ice, fishing gear, tackle, and an ice chest are provided on board.

Bait Policy

Live bait is typically included on most guided trips. However, during certain times of year, such as croaker season, bait prices can increase significantly and may require an additional charge.

Captain Landon will discuss any bait-related costs with you before your trip so there are no surprises.

If you have questions about bait for your specific trip date, please ask before booking.

Weather Policy

Captain Landon reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions.

If your trip is canceled by the captain due to weather, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

Weather calls are made at the captain’s discretion with guest safety as the top priority.

Payment Policy

A $150 deposit is required to reserve your guided fishing trip. Guests may choose to either:

• Pay the full trip balance at the time of booking, or

• Reserve their trip with a $150 deposit and pay the remaining balance on the day of the trip.

Any remaining balance is due at return to the dock on the day of your trip.

Accepted payment methods for remaining balances include:

• Cash

• Venmo

• Credit Card

Your trip date is not considered confirmed until either the deposit or full payment has been received.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A $150 deposit is required to reserve your trip date and is non-refundable.

Guests who cancel within 14 days of their scheduled trip will forfeit their deposit.

If Captain Landon cancels a trip due to weather or unsafe conditions, guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of any payments made.

If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
