  • Speckled Trout

    Texas Coast favorite

A staple of Texas inshore fishing and one of the most popular species we target. Speckled trout can be caught year-round, but spring, summer, and fall are often prime times depending on bait movement, tides, and water clarity.

  • Red Drum

    Hard fighting shallow-water favorite
Redfish are one of the most dependable and exciting species on the Texas coast. They can be targeted throughout the year and are often found cruising shorelines, grass edges, flats, and back lakes depending on the season and conditions.

  • Black Drum

Reliable action and great table fare
Black drum are a strong inshore species that can provide steady action and are often a great option for families and mixed-experience groups. They’re commonly targeted around shell, deeper edges, and structure, especially during cooler months and transitional seasons.

  • Flounder

    Ambush predator of the bays
Flounder are a favorite for anglers who enjoy a challenge and excellent table fare. They are typically more seasonal and are often found along drains, drop-offs, sandy bottoms, and marsh edges when water movement and bait activity line up.

The Texas coast always has a few surprises. Along with trout, redfish, black drum, and flounder, trips may also run into sheepshead, triple tail, mangrove snapper, and other seasonal fish depending on the time of year and conditions.
